Simple Philosophy

Photography is not just about knowing how to use a camera and lights. To me, the most important aspect is working with the person in front of the camera to capture the split seconds that make lasting impressions. This may sound like a daunting and intimidating task especially for those that have never been the main subject of a photoshoot but it is considerably easier than you may think.

You do not need to be a model with years of experience in front of the camera for us to get great shots from our shoot. In fact, there is only one thing you need to do in front of the camera: just be yourself. I will guide you the rest of the way during our shoot together.

Background

I graduated from Georgia Tech in 2005 with a BS in Computer Engineering. Not exactly a common degree for a photographer but this was where I found my initial inspiration for this craft. While photography was always an interest, I never even considered pursuing it until I befriended a classmate that had been developing her passion of photography long before we met.

When my friend first shared her work with me, I was amazed by what I can now describe as her ability to develop an affinity with her subjects then capturing that on camera. Her work made such an impression on me that I decided to freelance as a web & graphics designer just so that I could save up enough to buy my very first camera.

This was how my beautiful journey began.
